Bernert To Join Indians Organization

Bowling Green State University assistant athletic director for marketing/communications Kristin Bernert has accepted an offer from the Cleveland Indians to become a corporate sales representative.

The Stow, Ohio native came to BGSU in 1999 after serving as assistant director of marketing at Ohio State from 1997-99. With the Falcons, Bernert has overseen marketing, promotions, communications, and ticket operations. She also has overseen all corporate sponsorship and licensing related matters.

"I'm very grateful to Paul Krebs and the entire staff at BGSU for the opportunity I was given last year," said Bernert. "I'm looking forward to this wonderful challenge that lies ahead of me. This situation came up very suddenly and unexpected and was an opportunity that I could not pass up."

Bernert earned her bachelor's degree from Siena in 1996 and her master's degree from OSU in 1998.
