Men's Golf Tied For Seventh After First Day At Hawkeye Intercollegiate

The Bowling Green State University men's golf team is tied for seventh place (out of 12 teams) after the first 36 holes of the 2000 Hawkeye Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Iowa.
The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m. (Central) off of holes #1 and #10.
The first two rounds were played on Saturday with Iowa leading with a 586 (294-292). Wright State (295-295--590) and Northern Iowa (297-293--590) are tied for second and are followed by Western Kentucky (302-292--594), Western Illinois (292-303--595), Indian Hills (299-299--598), BOWLING GREEN (305-296--601), Northern Illinois (300-301--601), Marquette (305-299--604), Cincinnati (299-306--605), St. Ambrose (304-312--616) and Cornell College (343-328--671).
Complete individual scores were not posted on Iowa's web site. Iowa's Jason Wombacher had a six stroke lead after carding back-to-back 69s on Saturday.
