Women's Golf Places Second At Falcon Invitational

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished second out of seven teams at the 2000 Falcon Intercollegiate held this past Saturday and Sunday at BGSU's Forrest Creason.
The Falcons were led by sophomore Shelley Binzel (Dublin, Ohio/Coffman) who tied-for-third with a 36-hole total of 157 (79-78). Freshman Jenny Schnipke (Kalida, Ohio/Kalida) and sophomore Stephanie Elsea (Worthington, Ohio/Kilbourne) both tied-for-seventh at 159.
BG will be idle until Oct. 9-10 when the Falcons (both women's and men's teams) participate in the Austin Peay Precept Invitational in Clarksville, Tennesse.
