Athletic Department Announces Radio For Hockey

BGSU Director of Athletics Paul Krebs has announced that broadcasts of the entire 2000-2001 hockey schedule will be carried live on local radio stations. Friday night games will be on WBVI (Mix 96.7 FM) with Saturday games to be heard on WBGU (88.1 FM). Contests on other days of the week also will be available on one of the two outlets, which will be established at a later date.
The first broadcast will be Friday, October 6th when the Falcons face York University in an exhibition match at 7 p.m.
Steve Mears returns to do play-by-play while Dave Crane will once again handle the color commentary.
