Ogelsby Is Falcons Lone Winner At Michigan

Ann Arbor, Michigan - Junior Ricco Ogelsby (Columbus/South) took first place in the 60 meter dash and second in the 200 to lead the BGSU men's track and field team at the Red Simmons Invitational at the University of Michigan. The Falcons competed against Michigan, Michigan State, Eastern Michigan, Toledo, and Central Michigan.
Ogeslby won the 60 in a time of 6.79 and was the top collegiate in finishing second in the 200 at 22.04.
Sophomore Zerian Peterson (Lima) was second in the 400 with a time of 50.16
Junior Pat Kania (Graytown, Ohio/Oak Harbor) was second in the weight throw with a mark of 52-6.
Junior Eric Peterson (Kansas City, Kansas/Blue Valley Northwest) was second in the long jump at 22-6 1/2.
Sophomore Drew Downey (Weston/Otsego) was third in the pole vault at 15-5 3/4, while teammate Kerry Koontz (Bowling Green) was fourth at 15-0.
