BGSU HEAD COACH CURT MILLER:
"We came here to get a learning experience. Colorado is easily a top-10 team and program, and we learned a lot about ourselves. They took it right at us, and their pressure bothered us."
"Obviously, they're a great rebounding team, and they beat us on the boards by 33 (59-26). They almost had more offensive rebounds than we had rebounds."
"I give (CU coach) Ceal (Barry) a lot of credit. They played hard in the first half, but she only played one starter over 13 minutes (in the game). She really called off the dogs, and we appreciate it."
"Their second team is as good as any starting five in the MAC. So, for us to go out and play their second team to an eight-point game showed us that we can play against high-quality kids. But, their starters are a completely different level, and we learned that tonight."
COLORADO HEAD COACH CEAL BARRY:
"Obviously this was a game where we came out really aggressive. I felt we had a perfect first half, and I saw a lot of good things on offense and defense. In the second half there were a lot of second- and third-stringers (in the game). At times we got too complacent and had too many turnovers."
"Kate (Fagan) continues to improve. She has improved more than any other in the last four games. That confidence she is gaining will really make a difference for us."
(On Bowling Green:) "I really don't know too much about them. We wanted to come out and play hard. They missed some open shots. OUr overall intensity took any confidence out of them in the first half."
