2001 BGSU Football Schedule Announced

Bowling Green, Ohio - Five home games and non-conference trips to Missouri and South Carolina highlight a competitive 2001 football schedule for the Falcons.
INTERESTING STORIES
First-year coach Urban Meyer will get to face his former boss at Notre Dame, Lou Holtz, when the Falcons visit South Carolina, September 15. The Falcons also will be the first opponent for former Toledo coach Gary Pinkel as he embarks on his first-year as coach of Missouri.
HOME SEASON
The Falcons will open the home portion of their schedule September 8 against Buffalo and will host Temple, September 22. BGSU also will play Kent State, Miami and Toledo.
ON THE ROAD
In addition to games at Mizzou and South Carolina, BGSU visits 2000 MAC Divisional Champions Marshall and Western Michigan and East Division foes Akron and Ohio.
GAME TIMES AT HOME
Game times at home should be finalized by the end of spring practice.
