Falcon Gymnastics Loses at Ohio State

Columbus, OH - Junior Marny Oestreng (Trogstad, Norway) won the all-around competition for the fifth time this season but it wasn't enough as the Bowling Green gymnastics team fell to the host Ohio State Buckeyes by a score of 196.525-194.950.
Oestreng recorded her second highest all-around score of the season with a 39.325. Oestreng's top event finish came on the floor exercise where she tied for second with a score of 9.900. She also placed third on the vault (9.900), fourth on the bars (9.850) and fifth on the beam (9.675).
The gymnastics squad returns to action next weekend when they travel to Kent State to compete in the Mid-American Conference meet.
