INSIDE THE SCORESHEET
"Today we had the ability to be a little bit more aggressive, go for some landings, go for some handstands, and make those adjustments now so that way in six days when we compete again, we are ready and we feel comfortable with it. It's awesome to be able to just go for some better landings on vault and try some new things that we'll be able to work through. We know that we still had a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes, but on the flip side, we were able to be more aggressive about them, and that's something that we've been preaching all year long. We'd rather not hold back. If we're going to make a mistake, we made a mistake, but we were being aggressive about it, and that's something I saw today, and that's the next step in our journey of what we're trying to bring to this program." - Gymnastics Head Coach Brittney Emmons.
