Bowling Green, Ohio - The second game of the BGSU/Buffalo baseball game at Steller Field has been suspended due to a late-afternoon thunderstorm. The Falcons were leading the Bulls, 11-1 in the bottom of the eighth when severe weather forced the umpires to halt play. The game will resume Sunday at noon, prior to the regularly scheduled series finale at 1 p.m. The Falcons won the first game on Saturday, 23-10.
Freshman LHP Neil Schmitz had a no-hitter for seven innings until the Bulls Corey Blair homered to lead off the eighth. BGSU has home runs from Aric Christman, Corey Loomis, Tim Newell, Len Elias and Andy Hudak.
