Heldt Ties For Second At Texas

Austin, Texas - Two members of the Bowling Green women's track squad competed Friday during day three of the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. Senior Stephanie Heldt (Toledo, OH) led the way tying for second place in the high jump with a season-best effort of 5-10 1/2.

The only other member of the Falcon squad competiting on Friday was senior Lisa Mariea (Toledo, OH). Mariea completed the 5,000 meters in 18:20.78, placing her 14th overall.

Just one member of the BGSU team is in action today. Senior Christine Thompson (Amherst, OH) will be competing in the 1,500 meter run on Saturday afternoon.
