BGSU Men's Golf Team Finishes 11th at Earl Yestingsmeier Invite

Muncie, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished 11th at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational this past weekend, held by Ball State University at The Players Club in Muncie, Ind.
BGSU finished with a team score of 886 in the three-round tournament which was won by the University of Louisville (847). Bowling Green was in fifth place after the first round on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The Falcons were led by freshman Austin Chase who was tied for 19th overall, carding a 68, 72 and 77 for a three-round total of 217. Other BGSU finishers included Adam Balls (T-42nd, 222), Justin Gillham (T-42nd, 222), Andy Miller (T-64th, 225) and Brian Gerken (T-94th, 234).
The Falcons are off this week and then go to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Xavier University Invitational at Grizzly Course at Kings Island (Oct. 8-9).
