Women's Track Takes 4th At Central Collegiate Meet

The Bowling Green Women's Track team travelled to Kent State last Saturday for the Central Collegiate Championships. BG earned a 4th placed finish out of 9 schools that competed. The Falcons finished just behind Kent, Marquette and Ohio.
Top performers for the Falcons were sophomore Kerri McClung, who placed first in the shot put (47'00.75), junior Mary Willems, who finished second in the weight throw (56'02.00) and senior Lori Williams, who placed third in the weight throw (54'08.00). The 4x400 Relay team also performed well placing second with a time of 3:55.03.
The Falcons next meet will be Friday, February 1 at the Rod McCravey Invitational. Events will begin at 7 p.m..
