The Falcons have matched their victory total from the 2000-2001 season at 15. BGSU also won its 15th game last year against Western Michigan in the first round of the MAC Tournament.
BGSU snapped a two-game losing streak in Kalamazoo and won in University Arena for the first time since 1997 (71-69).
The Falcons matched their season high for rebounds (42 vs. Marist) and posted their highest rebound advantage of the season (+18).
Senior Keith McLeod recorded his first career double-double (30 points/10 rebounds). The 10 boards are a career-high. He scored 30 points or more for the fourth consecutive road game in the MAC and is now 6th on the BGSU all-time scoring list with 1,593 points surpassing Colin Irish (1,567) and Walt Piatkowski (1,577).
McLeod had five assists or more for the 21st time in his career.
Seniors McLeod (30), Brandon Pardon (17), Len Matela (16) and Brent Klassen (4) accounted for 67 of the team's 78 points scored.
BGSU guards McLeod (10), Cory Ryan (3), Jabari Mattox (3), and Pardon (2) combined for 18 rebounds.
BGSU's 11-point halftime advantage was its largest lead at the intermission on the road this season.
The 12-point margin of victory is the Falcons fourth straight MAC triumph by 10 points or more (Northern Illinois, 30, at Buffalo, 12, Toledo, 19, at Western Michigan, 12).
