NIU Coach Rob Judson
"They are a very good basketball team, excellent players with a lot of experience and they are probably the best team we have played so far. I think they could be nationally ranked soon."
BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"I thought it was a pretty good performance by us. We have been talking all week about not having a let down. We played really hard and really well on the defensive end."
(On getting the ball inside to Matela)
"I thought they were vulnerable inside and Lenny had a good week of practice. Sometimes when you scout you actually get it right."
(On Coach Judson's national ranking comment)
"We can't allow ourselves to think about anything other than what's next, and what's next for us is Buffalo. As coaches our whole thing is if we can just get one more and we try to play that off to the players."
(On Pardon's career-high 14 assists)
"He made some great decisions and he made a great play, a really important play, at the end of the first half by finding Keith, and Keith made a big shot. A 19 point-lead looks a lot better than 16, especially with the way they come out in the second half and got three."
Keith and Brandon have been tremendous all year, Lenny and "Cowboy" (Brent Klassen) have been great and tonight was another example.
Senior Brandon Pardon
"It feels good not to grind every game out. We had a hard week of practice and we prepared well to get to this point."
"The four seniors wanted to make a stand and I think we came together. This is our team and we want to lead it in the right direction and do what we need to do to win and I think everyone put out a great effort."
"The streak (11 straight) is not a big deal, our main goal is to get better every single day. We have 13-14 players with a common goal and that is to be as good as team as possible."
Senior Len Matela
(On his 26 points)
"It feels good, it is definitely a confidence builder. Brandon is the reason I got all of those, he put the ball where it needed to be and I made some good moves, it just so happened I was getting more of the shots today and they were going in."
