FALCONS RANKED IN BOTH POLLS
For the first time in school history, BGSU is ranked in both of the two major polls for a second consecutive week. The Falcons are rated 18th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll and 21st by the Associated Press. The Falcons #18 slot in the coaches poll is their highest major college rating ever. The Falcons were ranked 20th in the AP poll in December, 1985
ANNIVERSARY AWARD AT STAKE
The Falcons and Flashes will be battling for the Anniversary Award. Kent State has been the Falcons most common opponent with the teams meeting for the 71st time. This also marks the 57th consecutive year the two teams have met. The Falcons own a 49-15-6 advantage over KSU, and have won the last two meetings.
STREAKING
The win over Ball State gives the Falcons a 10-game winning streak dating back to last year. That is the longest for BGSU since the 1991-92 seasons when it won 11 in a row. The Falcons have the second longest active winning streak in the country.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
The Falcons lead the nation in scoring offense, averaging 47.7 points per game. Junior quarterback Josh Harris maintained his hold as the nation's top scorer at 13.1 points per game despite not scoring. He also leads the nation in points responsible for per game at 23.7 and is 10th in total offense (287.7). The Falcons have the nation's most balanced offense and are the only team in NCAA IA to average more than 240 yards rushing (251.0) and 240 yards passing (241.4). The Falcons also are fourth in the nation in total offense (492.4), eighth in rushing (251.0) and 24th in punting (36.9). Individually, sophomore kicker Shaun Suisham is 14th in the nation in scoring (9.6) and 25th in field goals (1.29).

If the Falcons are going to win the MAC Championship, they will have to do it away from home. BGSU closes out the season with four of its final five games on the road. Dating back to last year, BGSU has won five straight games on its opponents home field.

Junior quarterback Josh Harris has elevated himself into one of the top quarterbacks in the country. CNNSI.com recognized him as a mid-season All-American, collegefootballnews. com lists him as one of the top 10 players in the country, and The Sporting News names him as the mid-season MAC Offensive Player of the Year .
