The Bowling Green State University women's tennis team competed at the Wolverine Invitational from Friday through Sunday (Oct. 4-6). No team scores were kept at the event, which included Cincinnati, DePaul, Marquette, Michigan State and Western Michigan in addition to BGSU and host Michigan.

In singles action, Laura Kokinda posted a 3-1 record at the "Wolverine" singles flight, while Cameron Benjamin, Gaby Coello, Lisa Maloney and Heidi Romer each recorded 2-2 marks in their respective singles action.
In doubles, the team of Benjamin and Jessica Johnson won its first three matches in round-robin play before losing the final match of the weekend. The tandem of Coello and Alyson Gabel went 2-2, as did the duo of Maloney and Susan Schoenberger.
The Falcons are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, Oct. 17, with a home dual match vs. Oakland University. That contest is slated for a 3:00 p.m. start at BGSU's Keefe Courts.
