BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Josh Harris passed for 206 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores Saturday night to lead Bowling Green past Eastern Michigan 63-21.
Harris threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to James Hawkins in the first quarter and scored on runs of 3 and 15 yards in the second as the Falcons (9-2, 6-1 Mid-American Conference) took a 21-0 lead.
Ime Akpan led Eastern Michigan (3-9, 1-7) with 66 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 18 carries.
Harris also threw a 2-yard TD pass to Cole Magner in the third quarter. He completed 16-of-25 passes and rushed for 34 yards on nine carries.
P.J. Pope had 143 yards rushing on 15 carries for the Falcons, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
Bowling Green closes its season next Saturday at home against Toledo, which needs to beat the Falcons to win the MAC West Division and reach the league championship game. Northern Illinois wins the West if Bowling Green beats Toledo.
Troy Edwards was 18 of 38 for 233 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for Eastern Michigan. Kevin Walter had a 29-yard TD catch among his seven receptions for 129 yards.
Harris' backup, Andy Sahm, was 8-of-10 for 78 yards and two touchdowns in the second half. Robert Redd caught seven passes for 97 yards for the Falcons.
