McLeod Earns More Accolades

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University senior guard Keith McLeod was honored on College Basketball 2Night on Thursday as the top clutch performer in college basketball this season. McLeod was recognized by ESPN analyst Jay Bilas as a member of the "All-Raftery" team. The Canton native was chosen as an "Onion" or clutch performer along with Gonzaga's Dan Dickau and Duke's Jason Williams and was cited for scoring the winning or clinching points in seven games and for giving the Falcons two leads in the final minute in overtime losses, the most in the country according to Bilas.

McLeod also was honored today as the Mid-American Conference's Player of the Year as selected by Collegeinsider.com. The website, which heavily promotes mid-major programs, named Kent State's Stan Heath as the league's Coach of the Year and Andrew Mitchell as the Most Valuable Player.
