Three BGSU Student-Athletes Honored By Omicron Delta Kappa

Three Bowling Green student-athletes and one faculty member were inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Society last Saturday, March 22. The society honors students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni. Craig Jarrett (Football), Matthew Leardini (Men's Soccer), Sara Sikorski (Volleyball) and Dr. Darren Hamilton (Student Athlete Services) were recognized for their achievements in scholarship, athletics, community service, speech and creativity.
Jarrett is a redshirt sophomore majoring in chemistry and carries a 4.0 GPA. Leardini, a junior MIS major, carries a 3.37 GPA while Sikorski, a sophomore psycholgy major, carries a 3.66 GPA.
The Omicron Delta Kappa was founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. The founders formulated the idea that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college laife should cooperate in worthwhile endeavors, and that outstanding students, faculty, and administrators should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding, and helpfulness.
