The Bowling Green Men's and Women's Track teams will travel south to the University of Cincinnati this weekend to compete at the Bearcat Classic.
The Falcons look to improve upon their first meets of the season. The BG Men returned this past weekend from the Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa where the standout performance came from sophomore Kerry Koontz. Koontz placed first in the pole vault with a height of 14-11.
The women are returning to action after a week's rest. The Lady Falcons competed in the Snow Bird Invitational at Florida State two weeks ago. Impressive performances came from senior Lori Williams, who placed first in the hammer throw (177-03) and second in the discus (160-2), and sophomore Alicia Taylor who won the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.73.
Field events will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, with track events beginning at 2 p.m. The Bearcat Classic will be held at Meyers Field on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
