Career Records Falling at BGSU

Kelly In the Hunt
JR Kelly Hunt is a candidate for MAC Player of the Year and All-America. Hunt is nationally ranked this week in both home runs (15, T-17th) and RBIs (60, 9th). He is tied with teammate Len Elias for 4th on BGSU's all-time home run list with 29. He was twice named MAC East Division POW this season (April 8 & 22).
Loomis On the Loose
JR Corey Loomis is ranked 45th nationally, second in the league and leads the Falcons with a .407 batting average heading into this weekend's games at Kent State. The second baseman also leads BGSU and is among the MAC's leaders in triples (4) and slugging pct. (.745). Loomis has contributed to the Falcons turning a league-high 48 double plays and is also an All-America candidate.
Outstanding In Their Field
The BGSU defense leads the MAC and is tied for 26th nationally with a .967 fielding pct. (1,025 putouts, 474 assists, 51 errors). Just 11 Falcons have committed an error this season while only four have committed four or more errors. BGSU has turned a league-high 48 double plays in 2002.
