Bowling Green, Ohio - For those who were concerned that a less than full house might show up for Saturday's nationally televised game featuring #23 BGSU and #12/14 Northern Illinois, they may want to change their thought process to what time should I get to the stadium so I don't have to stand in line to get in.
Less than 1,000 reserved seat tickets remain available for Saturday's game against the Huskies and sales on the internet have been stopped and all general admission seats have been sold. To purchase tickets for the game, contact 877-BGSUTickets or stop by the ticket office at Anderson Arena between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
This has the potential to be just the fourth sellout in the 38-year history of Doyt L. Perry Stadium. In 1983, 33,527 saw BGSU play Toledo on October 8. The facility, which seated 30,599 up until this past summer when 2,000 seats were removed from the south end zone, also was sold out in 1971 when 26,860 saw BGSU play Toledo and in 1975 when the Falcons hosted Miami and drew 24,194. The seating capacity from 1966-82 was 23,272.
