BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - If the success of the Bowling Green State University football team hadn't spread around the nation before Saturday (Oct. 25), the word is getting out now. The Falcons, after beating Northern Illinois University by a 34-18 score before a national-television audience and the ESPN College GameDay crew of Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, are the subject of numerous articles on the web.
Josh Harris, Janssen Patton and Charles Sharon swept the MAC's West Division Player-of-the-Week awards on Monday (Oct. 27), and Harris is a candidate for national P-O-W honors on the USA Today web site.
