Falcons Receive Votes In Preseason ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team received votes in the ESPN/USA Today Preseason Poll and was ranked 48th in the country. The Falcons will host Hoops and Halloween Saturday at 5 p.m. and then face the Howard Pulley All-Stars in an exhibition game at 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, in Anderson Arena. Both events are free and open to the public.
BGSU was picked to finish second in the MAC West division by the MAC News Media Association but were chosen first in such publications as The Sporting News, Basketball News and Street and Smith's Basketball Preview.
BGSU opens the regular season Friday, November 21 at 7 p.m. against Urbana at home.
