With the Falcons' 27-26 win at #16 Purdue, and 34-18 win against #12 NIU, Brandon is the only BGSU coach to ever defeat two nationally-ranked opponents. Brandon had more than 22 years of coaching experience at the Division I level, including the last two years at BGSU where he served as assistant head coach and directed the Falcons' record-setting offensive attack.

FALCONS ARE BALANCED

The Falcons are second in the nation in total offense (508.8), seventh in passing offense (309.1), 16th in pass efficiency (145.8), 17th in scoring (33.4) and 19th in rushing (199.7). WIN THE WEST
The Falcons goal of winning the MAC West Division rests in their own hands. If BGSU can post three victories to end the season, they will be the West representative and host the MAC championship game on Thu., Dec. 4.
TOUGH AT HOME
The Falcons have the longest active MAC home winning streak at 11 games and have averaged 50.9 points per game on their home turf since beginning that streak on November 23, 2001 with a 56-21 win against Toledo. The Falcons have won the last 14 meetings with Kent State at Doyt Perry Stadium dating back to 1974.
NOT IN A LONG TIME
With one more win, the Falcons will have posted at least eight wins in three straight seasons for the first time since the 1983-85 campaigns. BGSU was 8-3 in 1983 and 1984 and 11-1 in 1985.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Falcons are rated 25th in the AP poll, 23rd by both The Sporting News and CBSSportsline.com and 26th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
LONGEST CONTINUOUS RIVALS
The 2003 season will mark the 57th consecutive year that BGSU has taken on Kent State, the longest continuous rival for the Falcons. Unless conference realignment takes place next year, that streak will end after this season. BGSU will play Toledo for the 55th straight year on November 28. The third longest active streak for BGSU is Western Michigan at three games.
TWO MORE THINGS TO SHOOT FOR
The Falcons will be looking for their fourth win in as many years against Kent State. Last year, BGSU won 45-14 at KSU. If the Falcons can win at Ball State, it will give BGSU its first winning MAC road record since going 4-0 on the road in 1994.
