GETTING BACK ON TRACK
The Falcons will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak when they face Northwestern. BGSU has won both games at home, and the Falcons have now won 20 straight at home against non-conference opposition since November of 1998.
FALCONS LOOKING TO GET HEALTHY
When the Falcons went 24-9 in the 2001-02 season, not one player missed a single minute due to injury. With Germain Fitch (knee) and John Reimold (bruised thigh) missing Saturday's game at Buffalo, it marked the 32nd straight game that BGSU has had at least one projected starter miss a game due to injury and the 18th time in 21 games that at least two projected starters were unavailable.
FALCONS CAPTURED FIRST TWO GAMES
BGSU was 2-0 for the first time since the 1999-2000 season after its 64-50 victory over Findlay. The Falcons won the MAC title that season.
BIG TEN MAKES RARE VISIT TO BGSU
With Northwestern visiting Anderson Arena, the Wildcats will be just the fourth Big Ten school to visit Anderson Arena since 1970. Iowa defeated BGSU, 89-78 in 1970, while the Falcons topped Michigan State, 98-85, in 1990 and Michigan, 65-59, in 2002.
