Falcons' Trip To Tennessee Tech Cancelled

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University softball team will not be in action this weekend, as the Tennessee Tech University Tournament has been cancelled. The Falcons were scheduled to play six games in the tourney, which was slated to run from Friday to Sunday (Feb. 21-23) in Cookeville, Tenn.
According to TTU's athletic web site, the tournament was cancelled due to extremely wet grounds and the forecast of additional rain in the Cookeville area.
The Falcons of head coach Leigh Ross-Shaw, 2-3 on the season, are now idle until the Louisville Tournament on March 8-9. BGSU is scheduled to face Illinois State, Ohio and host UL in that tourney.
