Falcon Baseball Gains Commitment Through Gridiron

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University football coach Gregg Brandon announced the signing of 23 student-athletes to national letter-of-intent to attend BGSU and play football for the Falcons on Wedneday, Feb. 5. One of the signees, Nick Thurman, will also be a member of the BGSU baseball team under head coach Danny Schmitz. Below is Thurman's bio.
Nick Thurman, Quarterback/LHP, 6-4, 232, Warren, MI/Warren Mott HS
Thurman will graduate in June from Warren Mott High School in Warren, Michigan... was a Top-30 Blue Chip... was named All-State, All-County, All-East and All-Detroit News his senior year... team won MAC Blue Conference Championship his senior season... was a three-year captain and a four-year letterwinner... coached by Tom Milanov... also helped baseball team to a state runner-up finish his junior year and will play baseball for the Falcons... a left-hander who has been clocked at 91-92 mph... Personal: Would like to major in marketing... son of Kelvin and Wanda Thurman... born January 4, 1985... brother, Corey, is a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays.
