Bowling Green, Ohio - Michigan State scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to break a 4-4 tie and defeat Bowling Green on Tuesday afternoon at Warren Steller Field, 6-4. The two teams combined for seven errors in the game.

BGSU got on the board in the first inning when Jimmy Lipari was hit by a pitch, moved to third on a single by Baughman, and then scored on a wild pitch.
Michigan State (5-13 overall) tied the score in the top of the third inning and went ahead in the fourth with one run, 2-1. The Spartans scored two more runs in the top of the eighth inning for a three-run lead.
