Falcons Finish Sixth at Bullock Collegiate Classic

Fairborn, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished sixth at the 2003 Bullock Collegiate Classic, hosted by Wright State University at the Greene Country Club in Fairborn, Ohio. BGSU, which was tied for second place after one round, finished with a three-round score of 911 (298, 307, 306). Ball State won the 14-team tournament, which took place Sunday through Monday, with a score of 872.
Leading the Falcons was freshman Chris Leake who finished tied for 5th overall with a score of 221 (75, 71, 75). His three-round score of 221 was a new personal best for Leake at BGSU.
Senior Andy Miller finished tied for 21st place with a score of 227 (75, 76, 76). Other Falcon placers were Bud Ziglar (T-38th, 232), Craig Pickerel (T-54th, 237), and Adam Cordes (T-56th, 238).
BGSU returns to action next weekend when it travels to Ravenna, Ohio for the Kent State Invitational (April 19-20).
