Falcons Set To Compete In McDonald's Invitational

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University track squad will travel to Athens, Ohio on Saturday, April 5, to compete in the McDonald's Invitational, hosted by Ohio University. Events are set to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Goldsberry Track.
The Falcons are coming off several top performances last weekend at the Western Michigan Invitational. Junior Alicia Taylor placed first in both the 200-meter dash as well as the 100-meter hurdles. Taylor posted times of 25.08 seconds in the 200 and 14.39 seconds in the 100 hurdles.
Junior Kerri McClung continued her hot start to the outdoor season with a first place finish in the shot put with a distance of 44-2.75. She also placed fifth in the discuss throw with a mark of 116-6 and sixth in the hammer throw with a distance of 139-9. She placed first in the shot put two weeks ago at the Clemson Relays, with a distance of 47-7.25.
Following the meet in Athens, the Falcons will travel to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships on April 12.
