BGSU Men Finish 11th at FirstEnergy Collegiate

Ravenna, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished 11th at the FirstEnergy Collegiate, hosted by Kent State University at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna, Ohio last weekend. The Falcons finished with a three-round score of 905 (293, 304, 308). KSU won the event with a score of 857 in the 15-team tournament.
Leading the charge for the Falcons was redshirt-sophomore Craig Pickerel who finished tied for 24th place with a score of 221 (71, 74, 76). Behind Pickerel was freshman Bud Ziglar who finished tied for 35th with a score of 225 (72, 80, 73). Other BGSU finishers were Chris Leake (T-59th, 231), Adam Cordes (T-61st, 232), and Andy Miller (69th, 236).
BGSU has one final regular season tournament next weekend when it travels to the Penn State Invitational (April 25-27) in State College, Pa. The Mid-American Conference Tournament is scheduled in two weeks (May 1-3) in DeKalb, Ill.
