Falcon Golfers Finish 16th at Marshall Invitational

Huntington, W.Va. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished 16th at the 34th annual Marshall Invitational, played Friday and Saturday at the Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W.Va. The Falcons finished with a three-round team score of 908 (293, 296, 319).
Illinois won the tournament with a score of 851.
Leading the Falcons was sophomore Austin Chase, who finished tied for 39th place with a three-round score of 225 (73, 71, 81). The next best placer for BGSU was redshirt-sophomore Craig Pickerel, who tied for 48th with a score of 227 (72, 76, 79). Other Falcons competing were freshman Chris Leake (T-67th, 230), freshman Bud Ziglar (T-78th, 234), and senior Andy Miller (82nd, 240).
BGSU returns to action next week when it travels to the Wright State Invitational in Dayton, Ohio (April 13-14).
