BGSU Men's Golf Finishes 8th at MAC Championships

Sugar Grove, Ill. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished eighth at the 2003 Mid-American Conference Championships on Sunday, which was held at Rich Harvest Farms Golf Course in Sugar Grove, Ill. The Falcons ended with a team score of 1,240 (314, 309, 304, 313).
Kent State won the 10-team championship with a team score of 1,174 (298, 298, 290, 288).
BGSU senior Andy Miller and freshman Bud Ziglar were the top finishers for the Falcons, both finishing tied for 23rd place with a four-round score of 305. Ziglar shot a team-low 76 on the final day.
Freshman Chris Leake finished tied for 35th place with a score of 315 while redshirt-sophomore Craig Pickerel was 38th (316) and freshman Adam Cordes was tied for 49th (331).
