1. What is a typical summer day like for you as a member of the BGSU men's basketball program?
I lift weights every weekday from 9 to 10 a.m. I work for the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation department and I am usually there from Noon to 3:15 p.m. The rest of the day is spent rehabing my knee.
2. Do you hold down a summer job, and if so, what is it like?
I work for the BG Parks and Recreation. I help run the basketball camps for little kids.
3. Do you play in any type of league over the summer?
No. Right now I am mostly trying to come back from my injury.
4. What kind of classes are you taking right now?
I am currently working on my practicum for my recreation and tourism degree.
5. Have you gone to any movies this summer, and if so, what was your favorite movie you have seen?
My favorite movie this summer was X-Men 2.
6. How hard are you and your teammates working to improve?
We are working harder than anyone could imagine.
7. Do the players talk about specific team and individual goals with each other?
Our goals for the next season are to win the MAC and make the NCAA tournament.
8. Has anyone stood out in your mind as far as improvement during the off-season?
Steven Wright. He is a tremendous player.
9. If a prospective recruit or his family were to ask you what was the one thing they needed to be prepared for to play Division I basketball, what would you tell them?
They must be prepared to work harder than they have ever worked in their entire lives.
10. Do you have any favorite professional sports teams?
I like the Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns in the NBA, the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL, and the Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets and the Seattle Mariners in baseball.
