The Opening tip The Falcons are in their eighth season under head coach Dan Dakich. Dakich is second all-time at BGSU in winning percentage (.569) and fifth all-time in wins with a 120-91 record.
The Falcons boast a four-game winning streak, their longest since the 2002-03 season when they posted a six-game streak.
BGSU is the top defensive team in the MAC allowing opponents just 59.6 points per game on 38.4% shooting from the field and 23.5% accuracy from long distance.
The Falcons also lead the league in field goal percentage at 51.8% and assists (18.0) and are second in three-point field goal percentage hitting 41.0% of their long distance shots.
Senior John Reimold is fourth in the MAC averaging 17.4 points, and ranks third in the league in field goal percentage (58.8%) and third in three-point field goal percentage (53.8%). In his last two games, he has made nine of 11 three-point field goals ( 81.8%). He had 26 points last year against the Penguins.
Senior Josh Almanson is seventh in the MAC averaging 16.4 points and fifth in the league in field goal percentage (57.1%). He has scored in double figures in five straight games this year, the longest such streak of his career.
Junior Steven Wright is averaging 13.4 points and is second in the league in field goal percentage making 59.1% of his shots.
Freshman Scott Vandermeer is fourth in the league in blocked shots at 1.6. He had a season-high six points and had two blocks against BC.
Junior John Floyd, who had 10 assists against Bluffton, is second in the MAC in assists averaging 6.4 dishes per game.
