The Opening Tip
The Falcons are in their eighth season under head coach Dan Dakich. Dakich is second all-time at BGSU in winning percentage (.571) and fifth all-time in wins with a 121-91 record. The Falcons boast a five-game winning streak, their longest since the 2002-03 season when they posted a six-game streak. IPFW is 3-6 and will play at Butler on Saturday before visiting BGSU.
BGSU is 26-3 when shooting over 50% in a game since the 2000-01 season. They have made more than half of their shots in four straight games.

The Falcons also lead the league in field goal percentage at 52.1% and assists (17.7) and are second in three-point field goal percentage hitting 39.4% of their long distance shots.
Senior Josh Almanson is second in the MAC averaging 18.3 points and in field goal percentage (62.3%). He has scored in double figures in six straight games this year, the longest such streak of his career. He had a career-high 28 points against Youngstown State and also established a new career-best by making 11 of 13 field goals against the Penguins.
Senior John Reimold is fourth in the MAC averaging 17.2 points, and ranks third in the league in field goal percentage (58.1%) and third in three-point field goal percentage (51.5%).
Junior Steven Wright is averaging 13.5 points and is ninth in the league in field goal percentage making 50.8% of his shots.
Freshman Scott Vandermeer is sixth in the league in blocked shots at 1.33. He has averaged five points in the last two games.
Junior John Floyd is second in the league in assists averaging six assists per game.
