Dakich Asks Falcon Fans To Aid American Red Cross on Sunday

Bowling Green, Ohio - Deeply moved by recent news reports regarding the devastation from a powerful tsunami which impacted countries in southern Asia and eastern Africa, BGSU men's basketball coach Dan Dakich would like to ask fans to donate $1 each in the front lobby of Anderson Arena to the American Red Cross when they come to Sunday's MAC opener featuring BGSU and Buffalo.

Coach Dakich has pledged $100 on behalf of his family and will donate proceeds collected on Sunday to the American Red Cross.

"I don't think you can watch what has happened to that part of the world and not feel empathy and compassion for those whose lives have been changed forever because of this tragedy." said Dakich.

The Falcons, 6-2, and the Bulls, 7-2, will tip-off at 2 p.m.
