Two Falcons Make All-Academic Squad

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Bowling Green State University track and field members Melissa Krueger and Alicia Taylor have been named to the Mid-American Conference All-Academic Team this afternoon. Krueger and Taylor were among just 13 student-athletes to be honored by the conference.
Krueger, a native of Versailles, Ohio, is a three-year member of the BGSU track team, participating mostly in middle distance events. She owns the top indoor time in both the 800 meters (2:16.50) and 1,600 meters (4:59.69) for the Falcons. Krueger owns a 3.76 grade point average and is majoring in early childhood studies.
Taylor, a native of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, was just named to the first-team All-MAC for her first-place finish at the 2004 MAC Championships in the 60-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 8.50. Taylor owns a 3.25 GPA and is majoring in health science.
