Chris Leake Qualifies for U.S. Public Links Championship

Bowling Green State University sophomore Chris Leake recently qualified for the U.S. Public Links Championship in his own backyard. Leake tied with Brad Kerfoot for first place in the Public Links qualifier at Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green. Leake and Kerfoot each finished with a 36-hole score of 140. Fellow Falcon Craig Pickerel shot a 36-hole score of 157.
Leake played 14 rounds this past season for the Falcons, averaging 74.43 with a low score of 69 at the Ball State Tournament.
Leake will compete in the U.S. Public Links Championship, July 12-17, at Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, Minn.
