Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football program enters its second week of training camp which will conclude at the end of this week before school begins next Monday, August 23. Photo Day The team will end camp by taking its yearly team picture at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 21. Fans are welcome to stop by the stadium and players should be available for photos and autographs during the activity around 10:30 a.m. Scrimmage Fans also are welcome to attend a public scrimmage in the stadium at 7 p.m., Sunday. No Local TV planned As of Monday, fans in the Toledo/Bowling Green area would have to purchase ESPN's Game Plan on Saturday, September 4, to see BGSU take on Oklahoma at noon. Local ABC affiliate WTVG-TV, Channel 13, is scheduled to pick up the Ohio State/Cincinnati game instead. JC cornerback added With the departure of defensive lineman Lance Latkiewicz, BGSU has added cornerback Steve Simonton, a 5-10, 170 pound transfer from Fresno City College. He had 40 tackles and three interceptions as a sophomore and averaged 12.4 yards on punt returns. He is a native of Pittsburg, California and will have two years of eligibility. Falcons Receive Votes BGSU received two votes in the first Associated Press poll of the 2004 season. New walkons Here is a list of first-time walkons who have been in camp with the Falcons.
