Football Begins Practice

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University football coach Gregg Brandon welcomed 105 players to the first day of training camp Monday, August 9. The Falcons will begin their second season under Brandon after finishing 11-3 and winning the MAC West title and Motor City Bowl Championship in 2003. The Falcons will practice once every day this week until Saturday when they will begin a stretch that will have them practicing 15 times over a nine-day span. The Falcons will hold two events for fans prior to the season. BGSU will be taking its team photo at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 21 and fans may come on the field at 10:30 and take pictures of their favorite Falcons. In addition, a scrimmage will take place Sunday, August 22 in Perry Stadium at 7 p.m.
