Irvine, CA - Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has partnered with Paciolan to offer world-class ticketing services for BGSU athletics, the College of Musical Arts and all BGSU Theatre and Film events. BGSU's new ticketing technology, enables athletics customers to purchase best-available singles, seasons, combos, and group tickets online 24-7 via BGSU's website www.bgsufalcons.com. Powered by the industry-leading Internet solution, BGSU can profile customers by groups, including students, alumni and season ticket holders to recognize and validate group members and extend exclusive online offers to them. While BGSU Athletics is using the new system right now, all ticketing for the College of Musical Arts and Theatre and Film will be done through the new system starting in either December or January. To keep pace with the success and growth of BGSU athletics, the athletic department wanted to offer Falcons fans best-of-breed ticketing services. "We needed to streamline the process of selling tickets to meet the rising demand of our fans and season ticket holders. By leveraging our new in-house system we process and allocate large quantities of ticket orders in a fraction of the time, allowing our box office to focus on our number one priority -- our customers," states David Sayler, Associate Athletic Director, Bowling Green State University. To make it easy for customers to purchase tickets, the BGSU box office offers three convenient ticket outlets including the University bookstore (inside the Bowen-Thompson Student Union), the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Information Desk and the downtown bookstore, BGSU on Main (opening in early September). These outlets, in addition to the BGSU phone center, Internet sales and box office windows; give customers the flexibility to purchase tickets through a variety of convenient channels and locations. BGSU offers centralized ticketing services for both athletics and performing arts events campus-wide including events at Doyt Perry Stadium, Anderson Arena, the BGSU Ice Arena, Eva Marie Saint Theatre, Joe E. Brown Theatre, Huron Playhouse, Elsewhere Theatre, Bryan Recital Hall and Kobacker Hall. By leveraging their centralized system to offer a wide range of ticketing events, BGSU generates additional revenues to maximize ticket sales and quickly realize return on their investment. With BGSU's centralized system, all sales channels and customer touch points are integrated into a single patron database giving BGSU operators instant access to all customer data. A central source of patron information enables the BGSU box office to easily recognize preferred donors and fans and flag VIP patrons for premium service. Additionally, a single integrated database eliminates duplicate data entry and labor-intensive data cleansing processes. BGSU takes advantage of Paciolan's hosted services to eliminate hardware and software obsolescence and leverage instant access to the latest software capabilities. Paciolan's hosted services provide BGSU a scalable solution eliminating the need for software or hardware to purchase, install, maintain, or upgrade. "We are excited to leverage our ticketing infrastructure to drive more sales online, thereby reducing the strain on our box office staff," states David Sayler, Associate Athletic Director, Bowling Green State University. "We plan to dramatically enhance our online presence to increase customer convenience by featuring a wide variety of ticket options with real-time availability." # About Paciolan Founded in 1980, Paciolan is a leading ticketing enabler, providing ticketing, fundraising and marketing technology solutions for top venues across North America.
