Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team boasts one of the top receiving corps in the country and was rated as the third best unit in Division IA by Foxsports.com. "These guys really will make a difference for our quarterbacks with their experience," said BGSU Offensive Coordinator Greg Studrawa. "They are smart, have great hands, and are critical to our running game with their blocking skills. "I think they take as much pride in their blocking as they do their pass catching abilities." BGSU's top eight receivers have all been in the Falcon program for three years or more. Senior Cole Magner set a BGSU record with 99 receptions for 1,138 yards and 10 TDs last season. He also led the team in all-purpose yards with 1,592. In addition, he has thrown five career TD passes. Junior Charles Sharon caught 59 passes for 887 yards and 10 TDs and has averaged 15 yards per catch in his career. Senior James Hawkins caught 31 passes for 525 yards and 3 TDs. Junior Steve Sanders also was back after catching 43 passes for 466 yards and a TD. Magner (28), Hawkins (25) and Sharon (24) have combined to start 77 career games for the Falcons. Senior Cornelius McGrady also returns after catching 29 passes for 262 yards and a TD. Junior Derrick Lett, junior Kenneth Brantley and sophomore Brandon Jones also have been pushing for playing time this season. Tight Ends Three players could see action at the tight end position. Fifth-year senior Todd DiBacco is an outstanding blocker and special teams performer. He began his career as a running back. Redshirt freshman Sean O'Drobinak and freshman Peter Winovich are two players that bring excellent athleticism to the Falcons.
