BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"Ohio University and Tim O'Shea have a really tough basketball team, that are beating the heck out of everybody."
"I think that Ohio and Tim have done a very, very, very good job of getting his kind of players in here playing the way he wants to play. What the heck, they've only beaten everyone that they've played here over the last two months."
"I thought in this basketball game, Ohio did a really good job defending us in the second half. If it weren't for Reimold throwing in a bunch of shots, we really didn't have anyone else."
"I think they're really good. I thought that coming in here."
"I think we were careful with the ball. I think we made good decisions and I think we have guys that don't usually try to go too fast and sometimes against the press you have guys that go too fast. And when they go too fast, three or four things happen. One of is them is good, you get a bucket possibly. The others aren't so good, maybe you turn it over, maybe you rush a shot. You know we only had one day of practice after a tough game at Central. Our guys are great guys and very smart kids. You don't have to tell them too many times what to do and they do it. We just were careful. We talked about being careful but aggressive, we talked about being aggressive but smart and you know we handled it but we didn't handle half court offense and could jump back on my tangent but a sign of a good coach is playing good defense and I thought they played really good defense.
"This was a tough game between two really, really tough teams and it came down to the end that they made a couple of very good plays to win the basketball game."
Ohio Head Coach Tim O'Shea
"If this game is played at Anderson Arena tonight and it is as close as it is, it probably goes three to five points their way."
"I think we're good enough to win the tournament this year, I really do if we can get there. We also could lose in the first round but we have a shot. I think a year from now, if we can continue to build on this chemistry that we have as a team, maybe build a little bit in recruiting, this is going to be a very dangerous team that has a chance to special if it doesn't face injuries.
"This was a classic MAC game."
"Bowling Green is really good. You can see that they play well together, they're really his type of team. They certainly don't miss Lewis one bit. They're a much better team without him. He was a talent but once again, team always wins over talent and Dan has everybody on the same page." ...I have all the respect in the world for how he coaches and how his team plays the game."
