LOVELAND, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team shot a 36-hole score of 588 (196-292) to open the Xavier Invitational in Loveland, Ohio. The Falcons were led by Jace Walker, who is 14th overall after shooting a 73 and career-low 69.

A trio of Falcons currently sit in 54th place. Seniors Heath Ziglar (74-75) and Tommy Lopez (73-76). Junior Dan McIntyre also shot a 149 (77-72). The final Orange and Brown competitor was Trevor Spathelf (158, 94th).
BGSU will return to the course at 9:40 a.m. for the final round of the 2005 Xavier Invitational.
