Women's Track and Field Awards Program Slated for Saturday, October 15th at 4:30 p.m.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's track program will be holding their 10th Annual Awards program, to be held on Saturday, October 15th at 4:30 p.m. following the cross country Falcon Invitational.
This year's guest speaker will feature former Falcon Benita (Thomas) Smith.
Smith, a 1993 graduate of the University, Smith was the 1992 MAC champion in the 400m. Her time of 53.62 was good enough to get her a spot at the NCAA National meet. Going into the meet, she had the 22nd fastest in the country.
The program will honor top accomplishments for the 2005 season and introduce the 2006 team and schedule.
The evening will start at 4:00 p.m. with a social hour and the program is set to start at 4:30 p.m. It will be held in 202 B in the Bowen Thompson Student Union and is open to the public.
