FALCONS RETURN BRACKET BUSTER MATCHUP WITH TROJANS
BGSU and UALR will meet for the fourth time as the school's conclude a series which was brought on by last year's ESPN Bracket Buster series. Last year, BGSU built a 20-point first half lead and held on for a 74-66 win in Anderson Arena. The Trojans erased a 13-point halftime deficit and tied the game at 56-56 with 6:40 remaining. John Reimold had 29 points and Josh Almanson had 27 to lead BGSU in that game.
This will be the Falcons' second trip to Little Rock under Dan Dakich. During the 1999-00 season, BGSU swept a home-and-home series from the Trojans winning 91-84 in Bowling Green and 66-53 in Little Rock six weeks later.
The game will be played in the newly built Stephens Center, a 5,600 seat on-campus facility.

FALCONS ON THE ROAD
Saturday's game with UALR will be the second of four straight games away from home in December. The Falcons played at Bradley last week and will visit Alabama to take on Florida State in Mobile (Dec. 17) and Troy (Dec. 19 in Troy). BGSU returns home to play Notre Dame (Ohio) on December 29.

Since the ESPN Bracket Buster was instituted in February 2003, BGSU has gotten the best of the opponents it has been assigned to play.

LOOKING AT THE POSITIVE
The Falcons have entered the 2005-06 season not only with the task of replacing 67% of its scoring output from a year ago, but also dealing with injuries in the preseason that have seen projected Falcon starters miss a combined 11 games... during Dan Dakich's tenure at BGSU, the team's leading returning scorer from the previous year, has missed 71 games... senior guard Steven Wright has been practicing this week and could dress this weekend. He suffered a broken foot in the preseason and has not played this year. He averaged 11.1 points and 3.1 assists and led the Falcons in steals with 37 a year ago. Junior Martin Samarco is the top newcomer in the MAC as far as scoring averaging 19.3 points, which ranks second in the league. He also leads the league in three-point field goals made at 3.33 per game. He is coming off a season-high 27-point performance against Bradley. Freshman Erik Marschall is the top scoring freshman in the MAC averaging 10.5 points. He is among the top shooters in the league making 56.8% of his shots. Senior Mawel Soler is the top shooter in the MAC making 76.9% of his shots. He is averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds and had a career-high 11 rebounds against Oakland. Last year, junior Matt Lefeld scored just 14 points all season, but equaled that in his first game this year against Western Carolina. He had 13 points against Oakland and is averaging 7.4 points and 6.2 rebounds. Freshman Darryl Clements had seven points against Oakland and is averaging more than four points per game in his last five contests Junior John Floyd has averaged 11.0 points and had nine points and five assists at Bradley. Junior guard Patrick Phillips made his first career start against the Braves. Sophomore guard Perrick Robinson had one of his better offensive nights when he contributed eight points and three assists against Bradley. Freshman Dusan Radivojevic saw his first action of the season against Oakland. He also played 11 minutes at Bradley.
