"I've had a great experience at Bowling Green. I couldn't ask for a better coach, better coaching staff, better teammates...I just can't believe it is over."
"They did a great job. They made it tough for us to score. I don't think we cut or screened our best but sometimes you have to give a team credit for playing well. I don't think it was our best game but they did a great job of that."
"Well, I thought obviously...my hats off to Miami, I thought they played phenomenal, a little bit like what they did to Kent. Kent had beaten them pretty bad and then when Kent went to thier place, they turned around and had them down like 34 to three or whatever it was. Obviously, it wasn't that bad but I just felt like they really came out. We looked like we were quite possibly a step slow, every movement, they were hitting, we were missing and they played great."
"We never got a handle on Horace and I don't think we ever got a handle on Mason. Those two kids were tremendous, absolutely tremendous."
"Tonight, I thought it was about as well as I've seen a team play all year quite frankly. I just thought Miami...played really well."
"There are so many bad things in college athletics, whether it is a recruiting scandal, academics, or whatever it is, there are a lot of things. Those three kids (Almanson, Eyink, Reimold), in my opinion, epitomize everything that college athletics should be and that is what I told them. It has been my absolute pleasure to coach you every single day. I wish to God that I could coach you everyday the rest of my life and I told all three of them how proud I was of them. I told Josh how proud I was and how deserving he was to be a first team All- MAC kid, I told John he deserves to be first team all be it you can't take anybody off that first team because they're phenomenal players. But, I just wanted them to know, that at the end of the day, of how proud I am of everything there is about them. Whether it is how they conduceted themselves on the court, how they've worked at it, how they've conducted themselves socialy or how they work at things academically, I couldn't be any prouder of any three kids. And, as I told them, it is kind of the reason you coach... I love those three guys. Love them, and I'm sorry we couldn't get them to where we wanted to go."

"I thought is was a very physical game and we knew it would be that way. We wanted to make sure we hung in there. ...We wanted to make sure we came out and played hard and wanted to establish an inside game. We were able to do that...and once we did that, we felt good about it because it opened up a lot of other things and then Chet (Mason) made some great plays from outside in and Danny (Horace) was going good from the inside and I think that was the story of the game."
"Defensively, we knew we had to guard Reimold and Almanson, Reimold and Almanson..."
"Bowling Green is as well coached as anybody in this league. They've got a guy...I think he is the best offensive coach I've coached against."
